This is my first time

This is my first time

So, this is my first time... blogging.

I’ve been sharing on social media  (I’d love you check out Love Life with Monique on Insta & Facebook if you haven’t visited yet) but now that I've launched my full website it's time to start blogging.

I've been telling myself that I'm not a good enough writer to have a blog.

But that's just a story.

That's just fear and my ego trying to hold me back from doing what I actually, really want to do – share and be honest with you about my experiences, about connecting with ourselves, supporting ourselves, inviting more love, more joy, more passion, more purpose into our lives and how to do this all while being a “busy woman” and a mum!

So I'm going to have a go.

I've got stuff to say.

I reckon my blogs will be short and sweet, but who knows?

I'm just going to start and see where it goes.  See how it grows.  I don't have to have it all planned out.

In the past I'd want to know exactly how *it, whatever *it was, would look and I’d want to have all the steps planned, and laid out in front of me.

Now, not so much.  I’m learning to begin and let go.  To trust.

Now I know what matters, it’s getting started.  Taking the first step and then the next and then the next, you get the drift!

So this is a first step, my first blog.

Quite simple and straight forward in the end after all of my holding back!

I feel quite liberated!

Is there something that you've been wanting to do but your ego is telling you can't because you're not good enough?  Or maybe it’s saying you’re not ready?

It’s time to give it a go.  Time really is precious.  There really is no time like the present. Cliché I know, but really all we have is right now.

You are worthy, we all are.  You can do great things.  You can take the first step towards what you really want Lovely One!

Have a go, have a play, what has your heart and soul been calling you to do lately?

PS. I'm sure I'll make some errors along the way, miss a word here or there because let's face it, my brain works faster than I can type, but that's ok because done is better than perfect!
